Electronic Cigar Oasis was designed from
recommendations made by cigar aficionados to solve the
cigar humidification problems everyone has experienced
using passive sponge type devices. It is a
self-contained unit made up of two pieces, the upper
control section and the lower replaceable distilled
water cartridge. The two units slip and lock on each
other and once you plug it in the unit is ready to
operate.
The Cigar Oasis filters and circulates the air
inside the humidor eliminating the "musty" odor commonly
associated with well sealed humidors. The unit recovers
rapidly to the controlled humidity after opening and
closing the humidor. In addition to all the other
benefits mentioned above the air circulation feature
makes the unit a unique humidifier. One other advantage
is that you can use it to season your new wooden humidor
typically within 8 hours. Cigar Oasis is the

The Cigar Oasis

that clips on to the
control unit contains a
foam element with the
distilled water and
antifungal agent. The
fan in the Control Unit
draws air from inside
the humidor and passes
the air through through
the foam which is full
of water and the air
picks up humidity and
delivers it to the
cigars in the humidor.
Water consumption
depends on the size of
the humidor, how good
the humidor seal is and
how dry are the cigars
when you put them in the
humidor. Typically, for
a well-sealed humidor of
100-125, cigars that is
opened 3-5 times a week
the water cartridge
could last as long as 9
to 12 months. The water
cartridge may be
refilled once or twice,
remember only with
distilled water but
eventually the foam
breaks down and holds
less and less water
which needs refilling.
Also with use the
antifungal agent is
depleted and eventually
it is suggested that you
replace the water
cartridge with a new one.
